Mobile pontoon parks

Mobile pontoon parks PP-91

Pontoon complex is aimed at making floating bridges and maintenance of ferries across water barriers.

Bridges and ferries assembled from pontoon complex PP-91 achieve the crossing by tracked and wheeled vehicles both military and civil purposes at high speed of water flow and rough waters and in winter conditions.

Pontoon complex PP-91 consists of pontoon sections (floating and coastal) transported by trucks “URAL” or “KAMAZ” with special platforms, and tug boats used for bridging and ferrying. The boats are transported by pontoon trucks as well.

In the process of bridging or ferrying each pontoon section "is dumped" by sliding down from the platform of the truck directly to the water and then "self-opens" on the water. The crew connects the sections. During removal of the bridge or disassembling the ferry, to load a pontoon section or motor boat on a truck the loading mechanism of that truck platform is used.

Minimum time of bridge assembly and its folding is achieved if each section is transported by a separate truck.

Transportation of the pontoon complex PP-91 to distant and hardly accessible areas can be performed by helicopters using external suspensions.

Pontoon Park enables to assemble pontoon bridges and ferries of regular and extended width.
