Oka Shipyard builds barges for Pola Rise

On November 30, the keel of the second of ten non-self-propelled loading barges (page number 4102) of the ROB20 project, commissioned by Pola Rise (St. Petersburg), took place on the Okskaya Sudoverf (part of UCL Holding).
Non-self-propelled loading barges are designed to transport petroleum products with a flashpoint of 610C and above, the main cargo is fuel oil.
The project was developed by Marine Engineering Bureau LLC.
The contract for the construction of barges was signed on October 31, 2017.
The vessels are planned to be built and handed over to the customer in the first half of 2018.

Okskaya Sudoverf is a modern shipbuilding enterprise as part of the VBTH division of the international transport group UCL Holding. The main activities of the enterprise are shipbuilding: oil-loading and dry-cargo medium-tonnage mixed vessels, container ships, special vessels, barges.
