The Okskaya Sudoverf held a meeting with head of the Federal Agency for Fishery

At the end of February 2017, the Executive Director of the Okskaya Sudoverf (part of UCL Holding) Denis Samsikov met with the Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries Petr Savchuk.

This meeting has become especially relevant on the eve of a new stage in the allocation of quotas for the harvesting of bioresources in the marine regions of Russia. In accordance with the concept of quotas for investment purposes, the fish industry enterprises need to update the fishing fleet.

The purpose of the talks was the presentation of the capabilities of the Okskaya Sudoverf to meet the needs of Russian fishing companies in the construction of medium- and small-tonnage fishing vessels in domestic shipyards.

The issues of state support for Russian shipyards involved in the construction of fishing vessels, various possibilities for financing projects for the renewal of the fishing fleet, various projects of promising for the industry vessels are also discussed.

Following the meeting, the management of the Okskaya Sudoverf invited representatives of the Federal Agency for Fishery and fishery companies to visit the enterprise and familiarize themselves with modern shipbuilding technologies introduced during the last 3 years. In response, the Agency invited the shipyard to present its developments at the International Fisheries Forum in St. Petersburg, which will be held on September 14, 2017.
