Okskaya Sudoverf is actively developing in the direction of shipbuilding of the fishing fleet. In March 2017, the company negotiated with foreign design organizations - Scottish MacDuff Design and Korean SeaTech Solutions Co., Ltd, specializing in the design of modern fishing vessels.

As a result of negotiations, the shipyard management considers several projects of medium- and small-tonnage fishing vessels of high interest to the fishing industry in Russia. The ships' projects meet the modern building capabilities of the Okskaya sudoverf, JSC and the parameters of ship transportation by inland waterways from the enterprise to the customer.

Within the framework of the direction on March 17, a meeting with representatives of Murmansk fishing companies was organized at the Okskaya Sudoverf , where the proposed projects were considered, as well as issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in the construction of fishing vessels, production opportunities and shipyard products.
