On May 23, 2017, the Okskaya Sudoverf (part of UCL Holding) sent the 14th chemical tanker of the project RST27 "Balt-Fleet 15", construction number 2714 for passage of sea trials. Then the vessel will be handed over to the customer - LLC "BF Tanker".
The construction of the vessel was carried out as part of a contract with the Okskaya Sudoverf, concluded in September 2015 at the International Exhibition "NEVA-2015". During the implementation of the contract, the customer decided to upgrade the tanker 2714 of the RST27 project to a chemical carrier vessel to IMO class 2.
The ship was launched on March 30, 2017.
As part of the re-equipment of the vessel, the Okskaya Sudoverf introduced in the beginning of 2017 a new system for the cleaning and preparation of holds for the application of coatings required for the safe loading and transportation of various types of cargo. The new system allowed to automate auxiliary operations in ship holds and to reduce their labor intensity by 35 times.
