Purpose: sea and combined (river-sea) transportation:
- in cargo tanks - petroleum products with flash-point higher 60°С;
- on cargo deck - broken stone, rolled steel, cars, on removable/folding decks as well international standard containers, and other wet proof general and bulk cargo.
According to British Royal community of naval constructors (RINA − Royal Institution of Naval Architect) the ships under project RST54 included to the list of 50 best ships of 2014.
