November 30, 2017 Okskaya Sudoverf (part of UCL Holding) has signed a contract for the construction of a series of eight dry cargo vessels project RSD32M. The vessels are being built for "Navis-1" LLC (Moscow), the customer is State Transport Leasing Company.
The vessels are planned to be built and handed over to the customer in the second half of 2019.
Dry cargoes are intended for transportation of general and bulk cargoes (including grain), packaged sawn timber, roundwood, scrap metal, metal in bundles and rolls, large and heavy cargoes, coal, dangerous goods of Class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1 , 8, 9 in accordance with the RID MKG and the category "B" cargoes from the ICMG MC.
Area of operation: marine areas in accordance with the class and inland waterways of the European part of the Russian Federation, including VBVP and VDSK.
The vessel is designed and built on the KM class Ice1 R2 AUT1-ICS.
